ITEC 2025

ITEC 2025

It’s been an incredible few days at ITEC 2025 – and we’re proud to be part of it!

It has been an exciting experience to showcase the power and potential of a fully integrated synthetic environment. Working alongside innovative partners, we’ve demonstrated how seamless collaboration can bring advanced technologies to life, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of defense and simulation. This project is a testament to the invaluable contributions SMEs make in driving progress and innovation within the industry.

A huge thank you to the Project OdySSEy team for the warm welcome. We’re thrilled to be joining the OdySSEy family and to contribute our Anti-Submarine Warfare expertise to help shape the future of integrated, collective training in the Single Synthetic Environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to engage, looking forward now to following up on the great conversations and collaborations in the coming weeks!

10th Annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science

10th Annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Members of our JD2E  team were very honoured to assist Inzpire recently with celebrating the 10th annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The exciting day held at the Air Battlespace Training Centre (ABTC) at RAF Waddington on the 28th February, hosted 28 female students from years 5 and 6 at the John Blow Primary school in Collingham. Throughout the day the girls took part in activities based around Science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects and our team were especially privileged to take the girls ‘flying’ in our simulator and talk to them about our roles in the simulation industry and military backgrounds.

JD2E Team Building

Our teams are (always) busy working on team specific projects. Communication is key within any organisation and so we are taking time out this week to have a whole company meeting. Bringing together our remote and wider, full and part time, employees for a morning of updates and an afternoon activity for a social catch up. An opportunity to ‘down tools’ and to take time to reconnect with everyone. Our meeting ended at Hollywood Bowl where our ‘Highest Score’ trophy also had its inaugural presentation with 2 employees having the same high score! We will have to wait some time to see who gets the trophy next…

AGMAGM at Bomber Command Friday 17th January saw our whole team come together for our AGM at the International Bomber Command Centre; a fantastic setting for the event. We received a tour by one of the volunteers before our meal and our MD took the opportunity to reflect on last year’s incredible successes.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers Ball

Scotty’s Little Soldiers Ball

JD2E recently had the privilege and opportunity to join Nikki and the team of amazing people at Scotty’s Little Soldiers at their annual Scotty’s Ball. As one of the headline sponsors we are proud to have been a small part in helping them raise an incredible £54,000 towards supporting bereaved military children. As the country gather and prepare to pay their respects over the next few days, we must not forget the amazing and vital work this, and all the charities and companies do in supporting the wider military family. Well done Scotty’s!
