Completion of RAF WSOp(ISR) Training Course

JD2E successfully delivered the six-week rearcrew sensor operator course for UK RAF Weapon Systems Operators (ISR) aircrew students destined for platforms such as MQ-9 Reaper, Shadow R1, Sentinel R1, RC-135W Rivet Joint and P-8A Poseidon.
The course consisted of six students and featured an intense blended training course consisting of classroom teaching, practical instruction and advanced synthetic phase that saw them acting as tactical controller of the ISR aircraft, responsible for keeping the aircraft safe, operating all sensors and managing the communications in demanding exercises. The exercises featured home operations and graduated to deployed operations in a hostile environment with maritime and overland missions.
Testament to their capabilities and the hard work they put in to the course, all six students passed the course and moved on to the flying phase.
