Easter Egg Raffle and VR Event

Easter Egg Raffle and VR Event – by the Events Committee

On behalf of the Events Committee we would like to say a massive thank you! On Friday 20th March we raised a huge £317 towards our £500 total for Sophies Journey!  This is an incredible achievement and hope to raise the rest of our goal (if not more) at our next fundraising event.

Special thanks go to
– the Events team for their efforts in gathering donations, preparing and organising.
– Samantha (Landlord NDC Group) for the use of the room and generous ticket purchases                                                                     – Our neighbours for purchasing tickets (Tillotts, The Hair Studio and Belle and Bouquet)
– Billinghay and Navenby Coop for their donations.
– Tesco Sleaford for their donations
– Simons Son for donations from Mars
– And last but not least YOU for purchasing tickets and supporting our events!!!

Easter Egg raffle and VR Event

The VR event was great fun with many belly laughs all round!
Nicki won the event with her stoic efforts reaching the end of the plank not only once but twice and Johns swan dive will go down in history.

It was lovely to see so many people attend!

Mike & Yvonne visited the 1237  (North Hykeham) Squadron Cadets on their parade night, Monday 16th March.  This initial meeting marks the start of our partnership with the Cadet group. JD2E have donated a trophy for excellence in the field of STEM and will work with the Cadets to assist and provide related activities.  We look forward to presenting the award to the next recipient during the annual awards event.

To mark the occasion, Fg Off Anelay kindly presented JD2E with a certificate in recognition of the partnership.
